Creating a recognisable symbol of your business.
Good logo design creates an image that your clients – and potential new clients – will recognise. So, when it’s time to make a choice, yours is the name they will remember.
Our logo designs are always original creations. We don’t just combine bits of clip art, as many of the cheaper online services do. Instead, each new logo is built up from scratch, tailored to the customer’s needs.
We’ll start by getting to know your business a little. Then we will take you, step by step, through the design process. We’ll agree the right overall style, select the right idea and develop it into your new brand mark.
Logo Design: a case study
Creating a new logo for Moral Training
This was a logo design project working with our regular collaborators, New Realm Marketing.
Moral Training and Development are based in South Wales. They provide all kinds of staff training, enabling companies and individuals to achieve as much as possible.
The project began with mood board. This helped the client choose what sort of look would best suit the company.
Then, using their preferred styles, I designed a few logo ideas which were presented to the client.
The chosen idea came from a mood board we had called ‘Non-linear’, where the logo is distorted or unbalanced in some way. In this case, the pieces are coming together to create the complete ‘m’, just as Moral’s training brings together the different elements of a business to function as one.
You can see how the final logo (below) evolved through discussion with the client. Note the change from dots to a complete ‘m’ as well as the change from blues to reds.
As always, the logo was supplied in a variety of formats, which gives the client plenty of flexibility in how it is used.
I usually supply logos in .png or .jpg format for everyday use. You’ll also get the master artwork file at the end of the project. Any designer or printer can use this in future, so you have control of your artwork. In this case, you can see that the client gave the artwork to his local signage company to apply branding to his car.
